My artwork is mostly expressionistic abstractions. Gestural lines,  text, and splashing paint expose the adding, subtracting and editing a painting goes through. I love the surprise and the anguish as the artwork develops.  There are subjects I return to often  including music, astronomy, Americana and the landscape. I live in  Pennsylvania, "Penn's Woods", and am inspired by the forests, meadows and sky that change dramatically throughout the seasons. Scientific facts,  places and libraries filled with books are also touch stones. The titles are clues...propositions.
