" I make one of a kind button bracelets with an assortment of gorgeous vintage buttons and fabric. All buttons from IT'S A JANE collections are hand selected for their color, size and texture. Once about 40 or so buttons are gathered from my vast treasure chest I  begin layering and sewing them together with a high quality flexible thread. When that is complete I add a full interior lining that includes a custom IT'S A JANE label. Most often the bracelets are completed with a toggle closure.
 The bracelets look delicate but are up to the wear of everyday life. They are durable and slip on and off like a bangle. There is H u g e attention to detail : a timeless stylish bracelet that is fun, sophisticated and  leads to compliments and interesting conversations.
First I collected rocks from everywhere then at about 18 years old  I switched to buttons. Some twenty years later through lots of trial and error (that's another story) I figured out what I wanted to make with all these buttons !   It really is the perfect accessory with your black dress, favorite jeans or to just tuck into your suitcase to add that finishing touch to your outfit. They are a memorable gift for a dear friend, or a full bridal party. Each bracelet takes about 6 hours to sew and is a timeless addition to any jewelry collection."
